Homeowners are being warned that some radiators on the UK market are being advertised with exaggerated heating claims, leading to overstated heat outputs that could leave households cold, out of pocket and wasting energy.

As part of its ongoing efforts to uphold legal standards and ensure transparency in product performance and advertising claims across the sector, the Manufacturers' Association of Ra-diators and Convectors (MARC) has issued a reminder that all radiator suppliers, deemed to be manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and resellers, have important legal obligations un-der the Construction Products Regulation 2011.

November 1st is National Radiator Day, and by now, most of us will have turned on the heating ready for winter. With over 200 million radiators installed in the UK, let’s take a few minutes to shine a light on this hardworking part of our heating systems!

Today, (1st November) is National Radiator Day, and the Manufacturers’ Association of Radiators and Convectors, MARC, is asking homeowners to mark the day by showing their radiators some tender loving care.
